Our team is professional and caring in everything they do and will always do their best to support you in your efforts for a brighter and better life.
Incheol Ha, also known as Master Ha, is originally from South Korea and has now made the UK his home. His wife, Françoise Ha, is also a Chi Master Practitioner. Together they manage the SC Centre and ensure the highest standards of care, design and content in everything they do.
Master Ha is the Centre Director and a second generation Chi Master and Chi Teacher, following in his father’s footsteps. But even more fortunately for us he has brought his skill, knowledge, insight and more than 22 years experience working with Chi from South Korea to here in the West so we can benefit too.
He is also a professionally trained sashimi chef and has great personal interest in nature’s growth cycles. He cultivates avocado and other plants from seed using both aquaculture and more conventional methods.
Master Ha also cares for the aquariums at the SC Centre and uses natural filtering and feeding methods wherever possible. His great skills in these areas mean we are often over-run with a large number of baby fishes and numerous plants!
Françoise is the Course Director and looks after the administration side as well as offering Chi therapy sessions and consultations.
Prior to qualifying as a Chi Master and Chi Teacher in South Korea more than 13 years ago, Françoise had a varied career: University of Bath (BSc in Business Administration), Morgan Stanley, Waitrose (LCGI in Retail Management) and then as a Piano Teacher in schools and privately (LTCL Teaching Diploma). She has a wide range of experience in the administration and education sectors and guides the development of all our courses, including those online.
Françoise also enjoys playing classical piano, music composition and hiking in the hills. The latter, a passion ignited when completing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award Scheme and she has a great interest in supporting the positive growth and development of our younger generations.
Françoise is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM).
Additional Members of the Team
We have an excellent support team of Chi Practitioners who work with us at the SC Centre as independent therapists on a part-time basis.
From a professional life that started in the arts, Ruth’s curiosity in the elements that lie beneath human emotions and behaviour led her to study psychology and then in 2006 to train as a Chi Master.
In 2007, following the birth of her first child, her personal journey aligned even more strongly with these interests. Prior to moving back home to Dorset in 2017 she worked as a birth Doula and a parenting consultant. Ruth also studied as a Birth Integrative Therapist, specialising in birth trauma.
Supporting mothers and babies during the pre and peri natal period still remains close to her heart.
